The brand brough its retrospective exhibition to South Korea. House friends and ambassadors such as Jisoo, Mingyu and TXT were present on the opening night.
Following successful stopovers in London, Shanghai, Chengdu, New York, Doha, Tokyo and Riyadh, Dior brings the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition to Seoul. The French Maison opened the exhibition with a celebrity-packed event featuring Dior ambassadors hailing from South Korea. Entertainers and sportspeople such as Jisoo, Mingyu, Tomorrow X Together and Yuna Kim were among the VIP guests.
A House Tribute
Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams arrives at the emblematic Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul from April 19 to July 13, 2025. The exhibition, curated by Florence Müller, celebrates Dior’s heritage and history with immersive experiences conceived by Shohei Shigematsu, a partner of the architectural firm OMA.
The exhibit follows Dior’s trajectory from the conception of the New Look to the brand’s present-day innovations. Diving into the House’s inspirations, savoir-faire and core elements such as Christian Dior’s fascination with flowers, the journey takes visitors through the history of one of the world’s biggest fashion brands.

For this installment of the itinerant exhibition, the work of Korean artists mingles with Dior’s haute couture designs and archival documents. Artists such as HyunJoo Kim, Soo Sunny Park and Zadie Xa, among others, reinterpreted Dior staples for the Lady Art project and the Lady Dior As Seen By concept, proving the long-lasting ties that bridge Dior and South Korea.
Dior in 11 Rooms
Displayed in 11 thematic rooms, Dior highlights the brand’s history and signature spaces, elements and collaborators. The Miss Dior space, for example, captures the brand’s essence of femininity, showcasing elements associated with the iconic Miss Dior fragrance, including dresses worn by Natalie Portman and archival objects.
Meanwhile, the Dior Ateliers room pays homage to the craftsmanship and creativity of the brand’s petites mains (artisans, seamstresses). The space stands out for the use and interplay of mirrors, perspective and reflections.

Stars in Dior
On the other hand, the Stars in Dior showcase revisits the brand’s history through the iconic characters who have sported its creations through the years. From Grace Kelly to Jisoo, the brand recaps the friends, ambassadors and muses, “who trust Dior to accompany them on red carpets around the world.”

Considering the exhibition is a tribute to Dior’s storied legacy, it was only fitting that House friends and ambassadors attended the opening night. All of Us Are Dead stars Cho Yi-hyun and Park Salomon (Lomon), actress and model Park Hee-jung and fashion personality Irene Kim graced the event with head-to-toe looks. The highlight, however, was the arrival of brand ambassadors such as Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai, members of Tomorrow X Together; singer Mingyu; Olympic champion Yuna Kim; as well as Dior’s muse and long-time collaborator Jisoo.
