Add yet another iconic look to Zendaya’s Spider-Man press run.
Zendaya brought top-tier glamour to the latest press stop of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Mexico City. The actor stole all glances on her arrival at Parque de Chapultepec, dressed in a goth-leaning dress and baby bangs that expanded her method-dressing catalog.

Zendaya has been on a fashion parade this summer, hopping from one city to another to promote her latest work in Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
While the actor showed her most angelic and natural side for the Odyssey press run, Z has been all about fun statements, spiderwebs and glamour for the Spider-Man promotions. She’s worn it all, from casual sports-inspired tees by Coach to sultry Louis Vuitton leather ensembles. The lookbook, styled by Law Roach, also spanned runway pieces from the Versace and Armani archives and exquisite high jewelry by Tiffany & Co.
And though the wardrobe has been all-encompassing, the vibe has remained more or less the same across country stops: youthful, edgy and absolutely fashion-forward.
Zendaya didn’t stray far from this energy in her latest press engagement in Mexico, where she attended a fan event for the latest film installment of the Spider-Man franchise. Departing from the laidback tees and vintage-inspired looks she’s previously worn on the Spider-Man red carpets, Zendaya embraced the goth renaissance taking flight since summer 2025.
Her outfit was taken straight from Saudi brand Ashi Studio’s Spring/Summer 2026 couture runway. The floor-length dress featured a knitted panel that contrasted against a body-hugging silk section, subtly tapping into the cutout and naked-dressing trends. According to Ashi Studio, the sheer knitted portion was created with antique-treated thread and simulated a web structure. Beading and fringe detailing cascading from the cuffs to the floor completed the couture creation.
Beauty-wise, Z embraced the 2026 rise of micro bangs. This short fringe style has been trending in style spaces throughout the 2020s, but this year received a boost thanks to celebrities such as Teyana Taylor and Isabela Merced, who even took the hairstyle to the Academy Awards.
While micro bangs can take different forms, from the short French fringe to the most whimsical, wispy baby hairs, Zendaya opted for a lived-in, flirty micro fringe à la Audrey Hepburn, paired with a voluminous updo that departed from the undone braid hairstyle she made viral at the Odyssey premiere.

The glam also stood in stark contrast to the natural beauty she popularized on the red carpet throughout the Odyssey press run. Now back in Spider-Man spirit, Zendaya opted for a sharp cat-eye makeup with pink pearlescent lipstick and matching sculpted blush.
Zendaya, who attended the event with husband and co-star Tom Holland (also dressed in black), told EFE that presenting the latest iteration of the Spider-Man saga was one of the most “heartwarming/conformting” moments of her career. The couple also anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day to be one of the most refreshing and action-packed films in the arachnid hero universe.
If Zendaya’s stunning and dynamic looks to promote the film are anything to go by, fans can certainly look forward to action aplenty.
