Because no one wears the iconic Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooch quite like Thai darling Win Metawin.
At the 2026 Oscars red carpet, brooches proved to be men’s favorite way to spice up their outfits. But long before the trend hit international events, Thai star Win Metawin had already set the standard for sporting these stylish high-jewelry accessories.
Over the years, the actor, who joined the Tiffany & Co. family in 2024, has delivered noteworthy looks featuring high-end items in various public appearances. A standout piece, however, is Tiffany & Co.’s iconic Bird on a Rock brooch, which has become one of his wardrobe staples.
A Tiffany & Co. signature
For decades, the Bird on a Rock brooch has been synonymous with whimsical luxury. The piece, created by French jewelry designer Jean Schlumberger, was introduced to the market in 1965. Schlumberger found inspiration in the cockatoo, a large bird generally found in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia.
After spotting a yellow cockatoo in Guadeloupe, where he had established his residence, Schlumberger came up with a quirky design: an interpretation of the cockatoo perched atop a gemstone. The jewelry piece was decorated with diamond pavé, sapphire encrustations and a larger gemstone representing the rock that gives its name to the piece.
Over the years, the item grew in popularity thanks to figures such as philanthropist and art collector Rachel (Bunny) Lambert Mellon. However, it wasn’t until 2023 that Tiffany & Co. released its first-ever Bird on a Rock collection, expanding the offering from brooches to necklaces, rings, earrings and pendants.
A particularity of the Bird on a Rock is that each brooch is manufactured by a team of “more than eight artisans,” who work together for over 50 hours to bring one piece to life.
A Dazzling Staple for a Golden guy
Whether he’s displaying luxurious jewelry or fresh-off-the-oven creations, Win Metawin never fails to influence trends and attract attention to his style. In one of his latest public appearances, attending the 79th Cannes Film Festival, the actor stepped out in an impeccable black suit.
At first glance, the outfit stood out for its velvety finish and trendy silhouette. (ICYMI, Win Metawin was an early adopter of flared-legged pants. He even sported them before the trend blew up, thanks to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime performance.)
However, upon further inspection, the star’s get-up featured a key element two Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Rock brooches stacked next to each other on the lapel.
Aquamarine in Thailand
Win Metawin has previously donned the Bird on a Rock brooch to attend Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store opening in Thailand. For the occasion, the Thai darling opted for a similar velvet suit combination. However, Win ditched the shirt for a refreshing take on the suit. He then enhanced his look with an aquamarine stone brooch.

Win Metawin is one of Thailand’s most famous talent exports so it’s no surprise to see him on the covers of magazines. The actor looked exceedingly cool fronting the June 2024 edition of Vogue Thailand. The reason? Other than his natural refinement, a chic outfit consisting of a pinstripe jacket and a rare green beryl Bird on a Rock brooch.
Amethyst in Japan
In May 2024, Win jetted to Japan for the Tiffany Wonder exhibition inauguration. The actor exuded youthful elegance in a black-and-white ensemble featuring black tailored trousers, a white tank top and a cropped jacket. To elevate the outfit, Win wore a faceted amethyst brooch and pieces from the Tiffany HardWear collection.
Citrine Rock in Malaysia
On a different occasion, the Thai heartthrob stepped out in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate Tiffany & Co’s new store at The Exchange TRX mall. The perennially stylish Win offered lessons on contemporary dressing by combining wide-legged leather pants with a black blazer worn without anything underneath. The star of the look? A Bird on a Rock brooch featuring a citrine stone of more than 54 carats.
Double Charm in Thailand
In March 2023, Tiffany & Co. hosted the Diamonds & Wonder high jewelry presentation in Thailand. As one of the house’s esteemed VIPs, Win Metawin was front and center at the event. The F4: Thailand star caught attention for sporting not one, but two Bird on a Rock brooches! Pinned to his blazer’s lapel, the jewelry pieces stood out for featuring contrasting yellow and white diamond rocks. So, so stylish!
