Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein topped earned media value (EMV) brand rankings at New York Fashion Week SS27, according to social intelligence platform WeArisma.
Tommy Hilfiger won the media impact race during New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, reports social intelligence platform WeArisma.
According to the company, the six-day event generated $326 million in total Media Value, a metric that quantifies earned and owned media, as well as visibility and brand presence, with U.S. legacy brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein topping the Earned Media Value (EMV) tallies.
Tommy Hilfiger led with $111.6 million in EMV, which represents 34% of the total NYFW share. Per WeArisma, 30.7% of the brand’s earned media value originated in the Asian Pacific region. Meanwhile, Calvin Klein took second place, racking up $65.9 million in EMV, 20% of NYFW’s total earned media value. Both brands also carried 23.8% of the NYFW-related searches, resulting in coverage more than twice the share of their demand.
Tommy: A Lesson on Front-row curation
Building their storytelling on the already successful Fall 2026 campaign shot at the Plaza Hotel, as well as a stacked front row, Tommy Hilfiger emerged as the leading brand at New York Fashion Week. The brand, which invited stars from all over the world to the front row, racked up 53% of its media value thanks to celebrities from outside North America. Accordingly, the show’s top voice ranking was dominated by celebrities from the Asian Pacific region, including South Korean and Thai ambassadors.
Jisoo led the tallies, generating $20 million in earned media value, the highest recorded for any celebrity voice at New York Fashion Week SS27. Model and runway opener Gigi Hadid authored $16.1 million while Thai actors Gemini and Phuwin, along with singer Camila Cabello, tied at third place, generating $ 6.8 million in EMV, each.
Per WeArisma, Tommy Hilfiger heavily relied on earned media, as only 26% of their media value originated in their owned channels. The engagement was even more unbalanced, with only 13% coming from Tommy’s official channels.

Calvin Klein Relies on Owned Media
Unlike Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein experienced a surge in owned-channel media value and engagement. Showcasing how fashion brands can adapt to the social media landscape, Calvin Klein garnered 59% of their total media value ($39.1 million) from its owned channels. Likewise, 74% of the brand’s engagement came from the brand’s owned media, proving that brands can build value, conversations and interactions without solely relying on external voices.
Nevertheless, Calvin Klein largely benefited from the celebrity voices on the front row. Among them, campaign star for the Asian Pacific region LingLing Kwong emerged as the top voice, amassing $9.9 million in EMV. Spanish singer and CK ambassador Rosalía took the second spot, generating $9 million, while Tate McRae was responsible for $5,8 million in EMV. Campaign star Sadie Sink and actor Pamela Anderson rounded out the list, accruing $5.6 and $$4.9 million respectively.

The city’s top voices
Considering Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein’s New York Fashion Week total domination, it wasn’t any wonder that friends and ambassadors from the U.S.-based brands also ruled the celebrity voice ranking.
K-pop and K-drama star Jisoo conquered the earned media voice race with staggering $20 million in EMV, 24% more than the second-highest voice, Gigi Hadid, who generated $16.1 million. Consistent with reports from other marketing and social media listening companies, Thai actor LingLing Kwong also emerged as one of NYFW’s strongest presences, accruing $9.9 million in EMV. Calvin Klein campaign star Rosalía and Tommy ambassador Gemini completed the list, taking the fourth and fifth places with $9.9 and $6.8 million in EMV, respectively.
