Jisoo, South Korean singer, actress and pop icon, graced the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the first time at the 2026 Met Gala. The occasion marked the star’s official debut at the coveted fashion fundraiser and, as expected from one of fashion’s most recognizable faces, she truly rose to the occasion.
While the focus fell on Jisoo’s spectacular fashion and jewelry, the singer’s beauty didn’t go unnoticed.

Everything you need to know about Jisoo’s Met Gala debut
But first things first, in case you missed it, Jisoo attended her first-ever Met Gala on May 4. For the highly anticipated occasion, Jisoo evoked a fairy tale character, dressed in Dior and Cartier. As a prominent ambassador of both French brands, the singer wore custom and valuable archival pieces. Jisoo was also given the honor to introduce Jonathan Anderson’s work for Dior at the event. (Last year, the designer was the artistic head of Loewe, a role he has since left to take over Dior’s creative helm.)
Jisoo’s outfit featured an ornate column dress covered in sequins and floral appliqués. The pink peplum dress found inspiration in Dior’s longtime association with floral motifs, as well as the Impressionist art movement. Echoing the same themes, Jisoo’s look also included a headpiece decorated with fabric flower embroidery and Cartier jewelry from the early 20th century.
Jisoo and her styling team translated the same energy into her hair and glam. The Boyfriend in Demand leading lady complemented her all-pink ensemble with flattering rose-toned makeup by South Korean makeup artist Pony.
Healthy complexion and rose-toned cheeks
Keeping Jisoo’s makeup clean and ultra feminine, Pony started by evening her complexion with the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation and Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer. The foundation’s hydrating formula bestowed Jisoo’s skin with a healthy and glowy finish.
The flawless skin base was enhanced with a subtle hint of pink and gold-tinged glow courtesy of the Rouge Dior Blush and the Dior Backstage Glow Maximizer Palette. If you’re wondering the exact shades, the blush is a soft pink-heavy named 475 Rose Caprice, while the palette is the 004 Rose Gold Glow combo.
Fairy-core eyes
Channeling the same shimmering texture and chromatic range of her outfit, Jisoo’s eye makeup consisted of peachy pink eyeshadow across her lids (Diorshow 5 Couleurs, 429 Toile de Jouy & 743 Rose Tulle). To create the ethereal, fairy-inspired appearance, Jisoo’s team added an inner corner highlight with the Diorshow Flash Stick in 006 Pearl Star.
Now, if you know one or two things about fairycore, a micro trend that emerged alongside the boom of coquette and other ultra-feminine aesthetics, the inner corner highlight is a non-negotiable step. This makeup technique illuminates and brings dimension to the eyes, offering an enlarging and subtle definition effect. In Jisoo’s case, this step elevated the glam, leaving a pearlescent and glittery finish reminiscent of fairy dust.
Understated liner and fluttery lashes balanced the fantasy-infused look, ultimately delivering a classy and elegant eye makeup.
Pink lips and luxurious fragrance
Jisoo anchored her beauty with one of Dior’s newest products: the Dior Addict Glass Lipstick, which she lends her image to promote globally. This new addition to the Dior lip product catalog sits at the convergence of classic products: lip balm, gloss and lipstick—all in one product.
Although just a week ago, Jisoo made the 306 Rose Charms shade her go-to during her stay at Cannes for the Canneseries Festival, at the Met, the singer went for the 405 Rosy Dior shade to coordinate with the rest of her fashion and glam.
Finally, wrapping things up, Jisoo sprayed the Dior Addict Rosy Glow, a gourmet fragrance created by Francis Kurkdjian that Dior launched at the beginning of the year.
