From Gucci to Fendi and all the star-studded events in between, these are the seven moments that marked Milan Fashion Week.
Home to some of fashion’s biggest brands, Milan hosts a range of runway shows throughout the year. As one of the four biggest bi-annual series of presentations, Women’s Milan Fashion Week brings together established designers, industry up-and-comers and a bevy of international celebrities. Trailblazers and trendsetters welcome each new season of Ready-To-Wear with eye-catching and show-stopping moments.
Below, find the top moments from Fall-Winter 2025 Milan Fashion Week.
Fendi Celebrates Centennial Anniversary
This season, Fendi celebrated its centennial anniversary with A-list ambassadors, citywide activations and a retrospective collection. Ahead of the February 26 show, Fendi announced its takeover of select newsstands and bookshops across Milan. At each spot, visitors could find books detailing Fendi’s history, with an emphasis on the brand’s most popular bags.
Simultaneously, the brand leveraged its roster of ambassadors across the world to generate anticipation for the Fall-Winter 2025 show. Musicians Yuqi Song, Bang Chan, Marco Mengoni and Ren Meguro, star of the brand’s SS25 campaign, populated the front row alongside footballer Paulo Dybala and actors Matt Bomer and Sarah Jessica Parker. There was no shortage of social content ahead of, during and following the presentation.

The collection traversed the first 100 years of Fendi and set the tone for the label’s future. “For me, Fendi 100 is more about my personal memories – real or imagined – of what Fendi was and what Fendi means today,” Silvia Fendi shared in a press statement.

Doechii Performs at Dsquared2
Hot off a historic Grammy win and an empowering collaboration with K-pop star Jennie, Doechii made her Milan Fashion Week debut on February 25. Decked out in Dsquared2, the American rapper opened the brand’s 30th anniversary show to the tune of “NISSAN ALTIMA.” The performance took the internet by storm, complementing the buzz for Dsquared2’s co-ed collection, “OBSESSED2.” Doechii wore an earth-toned get-up, including a corset and dazzling statement belt, setting the tone for a night that tapped into Dsquared2’s artistry to date.

After appearances by industry titans Naomi Campbell and Irina Shayk, Doechii took the stage once again. She performed “Alter Ego” alongside fellow Floridian rapper JT to close the night. Of course, there was an outfit change to accompany the second performance — for her closing number, Doechii appeared in a black corset, square-neck white top and knee-high boots. The look’s finishing element: a nod to Dsquared2’s roots as a skate-shoe brand in the form of a two-tone cap.

Diesel Creates a Global Street Art Collective
Glenn Martens, Diesel’s risk-embracing and innovative creative director, turned another runway into a large-scale project for Fashion Week. This time, Martens made an open call to street artists worldwide. In return, graffiti artists from the United States to Japan and everywhere in between made creative contributions to Diesel’s Global Street Art Collective. The collective was revealed at Diesel’s February 26 presentation, spotlighted in the show’s set. A three-kilometer canvas, adorned with street art by 7000 artists, was pasted across inflatables in the shape of human bodies.
The immersive exhibit inspired the show’s makeup, which adopted spray paint textures and eerie contact lenses. With its rebellious implications, the street art-filled backdrop reflected Diesel’s carefree, individualistic culture — which the new collection embodies as well. Impossibly low-cut jeans and skin-baring hot pants, classic denim and unapologetically loud colors dominated the runway.
Billkin, Jin and Xiao Zhan Take Gucci By Storm
Gucci’s show on February 25 marked several milestones for the heritage brand. With a catwalk that celebrated 50 years of the Interlocking G emblem and a collection designed by the in-house design team that emphasised strong contrasts, Gucci’s Fall-Winter 2025 runway was a nod to the brand’s past, present and future.

Generating immense buzz online were three of Gucci’s most prominent ambassadors: Billkin, Jin and Xiao Zhan. Fans of the three multi-hyphenate icons stormed Gucci’s social media to fawn over their attendance.
Thai actor and singer Billkin joined the Gucci family last summer. This February, his trip to Milan included a full Gucci takeover. From his olive green bomber jacket at the airport to his minimalistic front row look, Billkin embraced muted hues and earth tones. South Korean idol Jin took a preppy approach, a complement to his boy-next-door charm. By layering with a leather coat, Jin elevated the classic pinstripe dress shirt and tie combination. Meanwhile, five-year Gucci ambassador Chinese actor Xiao Zhan opted for a bold monochromatic red ensemble, complete with a chain and ankle boots.

Giuseppe Zanotti Announces Collaboration With Anson Lo
Italian footwear brand Giuseppe Zanotti announced a special collection with Hong Kongese star Anson Lo. The capsule, “Giuseppe for Anson Lo,” will include two unisex styles of Giuseppe Zanotti footwear and a tote bag. Lo, fittingly, partook in the creative direction of the items, bringing his sense of style. “I am incredibly proud of the final pieces we created, as they truly capture my spirit and convey a special meaning to commemorate my 30th birthday for years to come,” he said in a press statement.

Fans flocked to Lo’s social media announcement to express their enthusiasm for the singer’s newest venture. Having explored fashion through his own label, ALLOVER, and a myriad of industry appearances, Lo now expands into the luxury collaborative space. A first glimpse at the collection (specifically, the logo) was presented at Giuseppe Zanotti’s showroom during Milan Fashion Week. The complete collection will be revealed and up for pre-order on March 27, in select boutiques across Asia. On April 9, online and physical sales will commence.
Versace Heritage Comes to Life
Everything about Donatella Versace’s newest collection, revealed on February 28, was a testament to the brand’s strong heritage. The event’s star-studded front row included global sensations Cilian Murphy, Victoria Monet, Hou Minghao, Hande Erçel, Heart Evangelista, Taylor Hill and Hyunjin of Stray Kids, who revived the dye buzz cut to celebrate the ocassion. On the runway, Romeo Beckham and Lila Moss made unexpected appearances.

Familiar unapologetic shades of purple, red and gold across various fabrics and patterns adorned the models. In many ways, Donatella’s designs paid homage to her late brother Gianni Versace. She referenced Gianni’s last collection — which, according to a 2018 interview, was her favorite. Amid recent discussions regarding the brand’s future, Donatella’s new work is an adamant reminder of the industry titan’s legacy.
Susan Fang Shuts Down Milan Fashion Week With Dolce & Gabbana Collaboration
Chinese-Canadian designer Susan Fang helped close Milan Fashion Week with her anticipated Milan debut on March 2. Fang, the most recent designer in the “Supported by Dolce & Gabbana” program, collaborated with the Italian label for her collection; the program’s mission is to platform emerging talent, encourage diversity and foster creativity.
The newest Susan Fang collection is an amalgamation of dreamy textiles and complex artistry. As per the Associated Press, Fang was inspired by her mother’s artwork and memories of rural China. Looks on the runway boasted a variety of pastel colors, origami-inspired textures and shimmering metallics that may as well have been pulled out of a picture book. Fang’s vision remained true throughout: a unique depiction of beauty, deeply ingrained with the visuals of nature.
