Stripes, sportswear, solidarity and every street style moment that caught our attention during SS26 Copenhagen Fashion Week. 

On and off the runways, Copenhagen Fashion Week displays the best of Scandi style and design. While the event calendar spotlights fashion institutions, emerging brands and leading industry voices, the Scandi set pushes street style to unconventional territories. Blending functionality, effortless edge and novelty, the streets become a barometer for fashion trends. Copenhagen, after all, is often ahead of the curve when it comes to introducing popular styles and reinventing existing ones.  

This year was no different. Show attendants delivered cues of what’s to come in the upcoming Spring-Summer 2026 season. With their sartorial addroitness, Scandi fashionistas offered a taste of a polka dot renaissance, anticipated the return of stripes and highlighted the diversity of sleeves — we saw it all, from puffed and balloon iterations to oversized fits and exaggerated forms. Coming off the heels of football season, CPHFW goers also showcased their team spirit. Whether through football kits or sportswear-infused fashion, the idea was to elevate sportive styles and demonstrate that sports and fashion are not mutually exclusive.

And since fashion is always political, there was also space for political style statments and displays of solidarity. Clothing, let’s not forget, has traditionally been a tool of expression reflecting “the spirit of the times” and echoing societal sentiment. In this day and era, it is also a powerful tool of resistance and cultural representation.
