St. Agni Resort 2026: Powerful Femininity

Against the architectural backdrop of its Studio McQualter-designed store, St. Agni introduced its Resort 2026 collection—an extension of the brand’s wearable and thoughtfully designed wardrobe.

Australian brand St. Agni debuted its Resort 2026 collection with an intimate event in Melbourne. Showing off-schedule amid Melbourne Fashion Week, the brand presented its first see-now, buy-now runway, which merged wearability, purposeful design and the minimalism St. Agni is so celebrated for.

Recognized for its clean silhouettes and well-crafted designs, St. Agni has become one of Australia’s hottest fashion labels. The brand, founded by Lara and Matt Fells in Byron Bay, has championed minimalism with timeless pieces that transcend the trend cycle and rarely tap into fleeting fads.

For its latest Resort collection, St. Agni expanded its range with Ready-To-Wear, resortwear, leather goods and accessories — all introduced together for the first time at their Armandale boutique. Immediately following the runway, customers were able to find the collection online. The full collection launched on October 23.

Exploring the tension between strength and softness

For Resort 2026, St. Agni examines the intersection of power and femininity through a dialogue between structure and fluidity. Pieces like slip dresses and soft tailoring coexisted with leather sets and contemporary outerwear. A recurring theme on the runway was the use of cinched details and slightly dropped waists.

Fringes were essential to the styling, appearing on skirts and accessories such as gloves and bags. Meanwhile, materials channeled the juxtaposition between fluid forms and structured shapes. On the runway, the looks explored this duality by pairing sheer silks and lightweight textiles with leather and wool blends. As for color, the collection thrived on earthy tones and neutrals, ranging from rum, mocha and grey to white and light blue.

“Resort 26 explores the tension between strength and softness,” shared Creative Director Lara Fells through a press statement. “Capturing refined femininity through flowing silhouettes, ethereal textures and balletic touches, we’ve created balance through brushed leather and belted details, creating a collection that feels refined with a distinctly elevated edge.”
