In June, we welcomed the summer with refreshing releases and season-ready bangers. Below, find everything from Netflix-original K-pop and rhythmic Latin pop to hard-hitting rap.

Rauw Alejandro – “Carita Linda”

“Carita Linda” is the latest mood-making single from Rauw Alejandro. The Puerto Rican singer draws on the bomba genre to complement his smooth vocals as he sings about a beautifully intoxicating romance. In the accompanying music video, the star pays homage to Black Caribbean culture with everyday images of Puerto Rico.

Burna Boy – “Don’t Let Me Drown”

Burna Boy lends his husky vocals to the ‪star-studded F1 The Movie soundtrack with “Don’t Let Me Drown.” In this house track, the Nigerian singer captures the sweeping feeling of the races depicted in the highly anticipated film.

bbno$ & Ironmouse – “1-800”

“1-800” is a classic bbno$ track, complete with a groovy bass, electronic overlays and a nod to his stage name’s dollar sign. Ironmouse, a V-tuber from Puerto Rico with whom bbno$ has collaborated several times, joins for the song’s chorus chant.

JADE – “Plastic Box”

British singer JADE extends her streak of catchy releases with “Plastic Box,” a snappy house track with deceptively melancholic lyrics. “Plastic Box” is the fourth single off JADE’s highly anticipated debut solo album, That’s Showbiz Baby, set for release in September.

Karol G – “Papasito”

Karol G makes her case for this summer’s soundtrack with “Papasito,” a minimalist track with deep Latin American sonic inspirations, off her latest album, Tropicoqueta. The Spanglish track tells the story of a romantic chase across cultures, which is fitting, considering Karol G’s continuous ascent into the global music scene. Danny Ramirez, the first Latino actor to play an Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stars in the music video.

Oualid & Marwan Moussa – “MOSH 3ADI”

“MOSH 3ADI” is a fast-paced Egyptian Moroccan collaboration by Oualid and Marwan Moussa. The duo exchanges couplets with ease, painting the flirtatious picture of a captivating subject whose beauty is extraordinary. “Your beauty, girl—no, it’s not normal,” they repeat throughout the song.

Dove Cameron – “Romeo”

Dove Cameron speaks directly to and about her Italian lover in “Romeo,” a single that describes all-consuming love. (ICYMI, the singer has been in a high-profile relationship with Damiano David since 2024.) With this track, Dove Cameron extends her streak of dark pop releases in her latest era, one which has enabled her to showcase her vocal ability time and again.

BGYO – “All These Ladies”

Filipino boy group BGYO show their lovestruck side on “All These Ladies,” a lively dance-pop track whose vocals were partially co-written by members Mikki and Nate. With a nostalgic synth, driving snare drum and memorable choreography, “All These Ladies” is a certified summer banger reminiscent of hits from the mid-2010s.

HUNTR/X – “Golden”

Released as part of the soundtrack for the Netflix original movie K-pop Demon Hunters, “Golden” is a classic K-pop tune. Complete with themes of self-discovery and empowerment, “Golden” captures the moving feeling of developing confidence in and embracing your true identity. Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami lend their voices to this addictive track.

J.I.D & Offset – “Bodies”

J.I.D and Offset bring their rap A-game to “Bodies.” The new song shines a light on JID’s masterful lyricism and Offset’s seamless flow over an impeccable beat. With all moving parts fitting into a synergistic puzzle, “Bodies” is a strong contender for the year’s best rap collaboration.

BINI – “Shagidi”

BINI teaches listeners the game of Shagidi Shapopo—a children’s game of follow the leader—in “Shagidi,” a rhythmic song whose beat is reminiscent of Brazilian phonk. It’s a short track (2 minutes 29 seconds long) that flies by in a frenzy of confidence as the Filipino girl group’s members give their childhood game a glow-up.

GALCHANIE & CD Guntee – “Born For This Moment”

Thai musicians Galchanie and CD Guntee join forces in “Born For This Moment,” the official theme song for the Arena of Valor Premier League (APL) 2025. CD Guntee’s rapping slips fluidly into Galchanie’s bright vocals in this anthemic track, capturing the competitive spirit of the APL.

Laufey – “Lover Girl”

“Lover Girl” is a playful take on the happy-sad song. While Laufey sings her way through the turmoil of long-distance dating, the “Lover Girl” instrumental capitalizes on the Icelandic-Chinese singer’s upbeat jazz sound.

d4vd & Hyunjin (Stray Kids) – “Always Love”

American singer-songwriter d4vd released “Always Love,” a mellow, alternative track that highlights his craftsmanship. d4vd tapped Hyunjin of K-pop group Stray Kids for the release, giving the Korean rapper a chance to expand his growing solo portfolio and showcase his soothing vocal tone in a new genre.

fromis_9 – “LIKE YOU BETTER”

In From Our 20’s, their first EP as a five-member group, fromis_9 reminisce on their twenties—so far. The title track “LIKE YOU BETTER” is an upbeat pop track with a dynamic, layered chorus. As the quintet walks down memory lane, they effortlessly traverse multiple octaves, trading between falsetto, belting and even spoken rap.

aespa – “Dirty Work”

K-pop group aespa takes an angsty stab at hip hop with “Dirty Work.” This charismatic track primarily sees members Karina, Giselle, Winter and NingNing give a sultry spoken-rap performance. In typical aespa fashion, however, the song’s bridge highlights the group’s tantalizing vocal ability.
