Olivia Rodrigo Has this Summer’s Best Eyewear Game

From Glastonbury to Wimbledon, Olivia Rodrigo is having a Brit sunny summer and she has the eyewear to match.

Olivia Rodrigo is an undisputed Gen Z style icon. Out and about in England to perform at the Glastonbury Festival 2025 and attend The Championships, Wimbledon, the singer has made headlines with her impeccable wardrobe. While many have praised her chic vintage fashion, her stylish selection of frames hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Whether spotted in the Glastonbury crowd, sharing the spotlight with it-girl Alexa Chung, or sitting courtside at Wimbledon, Rodrigo has flaunted the coolest eyewear over the last couple of days.

Olivia’s Off-Duty Sunnies

Ahead of her headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival 2025, the “deja vu” singer enjoyed some downtime with friends. Dressed in one of her signature cool-girl fits, Rodrigo took her frames selection decades back — the 1950s, to be exact. Her pick, a pair of cat-eye sunglasses, felt practical enough for a day enjoying performances at the music festival.

If you, like many fans and editors, are wondering where she got her sunnies from, we’ve got you! Rodrigo wore a design by Brooklyn-based bespoke label Lowercase NYC. The star has been a long-time patron of the brand and was previously spotted wearing the Florence Sun style at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. At the time, the star opted for this narrow take on the classic wayfarer to accompany a black sheer dress. The sunglasses’ shortened height makes them perfect for those with a short midface or overall petite faces.

Back to present day, traipsing around England, Rodrigo sported the Steeplechase Sun style in black. This design creates a 50s-inspired look with its ultra-smooth and upswept curve. The licorice colorway and petite, angular shapes fit Rodrigo’s diamond face shape and personal brand to a tee. Sassy yet feminine, these sunglasses were the perfect statement accessory to elevate the singer’s outfits.

Bayonetta Frames Fit for Wimbledon

On July 2, Rodrigo appeared court-side at Wimbledon. Sat in the Royal Box, she gave an American prep spin to the event’s dress code. The artist wore a vintage strawberry gingham dress from Ralph Lauren’s 2000 Spring collection with matching Karen Wazen sunglasses and a suede handbag. Adding to the style serve, Rodrigo accessorized with a pair of diamond rings by Frank Darling.

The whole look embodied the preppy summer vibe, but her merlot bayonetta frames added a modern edge. In case you need a refresh, bayonetta glasses earned popularity amidst the office siren trend in 2024. The thin acetate frame and rectangular shape are reminiscent of optical glasses from the early 2000s, but adding a geeky-chic (and sultry) flair to Y2K office-inspired fashion. The craze inspired many fashion houses, including Miu Miu, Cartier, and Ray-Ban, to launch their own bayonetta glasses.

Now Olivia Rodrigo delivered her own eyewear style lessons, proving that cat-eye and bayonetta glasses are all you need to give a celebrity spin to your summer closet.
