The Turkish darling embraced hyperfemininity for her first montée des marches of 2025. And yes, she had first dibs on Pomellato’s latest High Jewelry collection.
If you’re a fan of Turkish drama, you’re probably familiar with Hande Erçel thanks to any of her uber-popular roles on screen. If you’re a fashion enthusiast, then chances are you’ve come across the Turkish actress through any of her stylish front row and red carpet appearances.
Erçel needs no introduction. However, in case you don’t know about the multifaceted star, Erçel made an impossible-to-miss entrance to the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Powered by the Italian jeweler Pomellato, her return to La Croisette on May 14 and later public appearances have been an ode to femininity.
ICYMI, Hande Erçel is a Pomellato Ambassador
Accordingly, her red carpet appearance at the Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning screening brought out the best of Pomellato’s high jewelry repertoire. Erçel stepped out at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, adorned with a 37.98-carat cabochon necklace. The breathtaking piece, aptly titled “Aquamarine Dream,” featured a 15.95-carat pear-cut pendant and white diamond pavé on a gold link chain. The actress also sported matching aquamarine earrings and one of the brand’s signature Nudo rings.

Further highlighting her jewelry choice, Erçel sported a strapless pink gown from Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection. The ultra-feminine dress featured a draped bodice and feather accents at the waist and hemline. Paired with a coordinated shawl and silver bow sandals, Erçel’s look oozed grace and sophistication in the best way.

Making a Case for Barbiecore
As a global tastemaker, Erçel is always ahead of the trend curve. If her recent color choices are anything to go by, chances are Barbiecore and hot pink are up for a summer return. On May 14, the actress posted the classic Cannes balcony pictures, clad in a hot pink Balmain dress. The bodycon piece featured draped details and a high slit, highlighting Erçel’s figure.
The look was, of course, accessorized with Pomellato jewelry—a three-tiered chain necklace with diamond pavé from the brand’s high jewelry collection—and a pair of Gianvito Rossi mules.
Fierce Red
Erçel couldn’t be absent from the Giambatista Valli dinner party hosted in collaboration with Vogue100 on May 15. (The actress is a loyal friend of the brand.) For the occasion, the Chasing the Wind star opted for a red hooded look. Aligned with her style preferences, the mini dress featured draping and cut-out details at the waist.
To enhance the look, Erçel sported geometrical jewelry from Pomellato’s Terrazza Duomo line and matching silver sandals. Beauty-wise, the star went for a classic red lip and and half-up and half-down hairdo.
Repping Nocturne
Fans of the Turkish screen icon will know of her longstanding association with the clothing label Nocturne. It goes without saying that Erçel proudly represented the brand at Cannes. The superstar shared pictures in a white mini dress with her more than 31 million Instagram followers.
The look tapped into summer dressing 101, featuring a fitted form, Mandarin collar and black piping. Erçel wore a pair of chunky heel mules and silver jewelry to finish off the stylish outfit, adding a casual look to her Cannes style book.
Yes, she covered all the bases from red carpet elegance to party-appropriate boldness.
A Cannes Fixture
This isn’t the first time Erçel stuns at international film festivals. Last year, the star made her montée des marches, attending the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. For the occasion, the actress sported a jaw-dropping structural dress by Balmain. A few days later, Erçel attended the 30th edition of the amfAR Gala. She opted for a beaded gown by Nicolas Jebran for the red carpet. On both occasions, the actress donned exclusive Pomellato jewelry.
Erçel’s presence at Cannes was so memorable that, according to fashion data company Launchmetrics, she became the second most impactful Turkish voice at the event, amassing $830K in direct Media Impact Value across her social media placements.
