Gemini and Fourth Reach New Heights With First North American Fan Meeting Tour

The Thai stars brought music, laughs and cheerful energy to New York City. No Manners reviews the event and chats with Gemini about the experience.

Since their debut as lead co-stars in 2022, Thai multi-hyphenates Norawit Titicharoenrak (Gemini) and Nattawat Jirochtikul (Fourth) have worked their way up in the television, music and fashion industry. Their on-screen chemistry in series such as My School President and Moonlight Chicken instantly translated to legions of real-life fans across their home base. Over the past three years, however, their impact has attracted fervent attention from around the globe, resulting in various international appearances.

Booked, busy and humble as ever, Gemini and Fourth brought their first North American fan meeting tour to New York City on April 4. Hosted at the SVA Theater in Chelsea, the event was an energetic and heartwarming ode to not only the actors’ careers but also the friendship they have fostered over the years.

Following the tour, which also touched down in Denver, Miami and Mexico City, Gemini exclusively shared his thoughts with No Manners Magazine.

New York Energy

During their stop in New York, Gemini and Fourth invited fans to a cozy night filled with games, Q&As and live performances. At 7:29, the venue doors closed as lights dimmed. Screams from the sold-out audience revealed the anticipation shared by tri-state area fans. This was Gemini and Fourth’s first fan event in New York City. Their fans were determined to give them a reason to return. As an instrumental track permeated through the theater, fans quieted in apparent confusion. The duo was nowhere to be seen.

That is, until starstruck fans spotted Gemini and Fourth walking directly through the audience level towards the stage. Their unexpected grand entrance set the tone for an energetic and playful evening filled with fan interactions and great comedic timing.

From Thailand, To The World

Observing the crowd throughout the event, several things were clear. First, Gemini and Fourth have cultivated a deep relationship with their international fans, drawing a genuinely diverse crowd. At the New York event alone, people of various ages and ethnicities mingled, reflecting Gemini and Fourth’s growing global presence. Alongside fellow Thai celebrities, the pair has caught the eyes of various fashion powerhouses, thrusting them into a unique and far-reaching limelight.

Second, these fans were hungry — in addition to cheering and singing along, voices chimed in with scattered interjections throughout the night. Gemini and Fourth took each comment in stride, reducing the distance between fan and artist with quippy remarks and shared laughter. “The vibe from American fans is just so good. They have such high energy and kept interacting with me throughout,” Gemini tells No Manners. “They were so sweet and respectful. I really loved it.”

Touring stateside, Gemini adds, has been a novel experience. “It’s my first time. I’m a first-timer! I’ve had the chance to visit many cities I’ve never been to before. I’ve been to New York,” the actor, who has previously stepped out in The City that Never Sleeps to attend New York Fashion Week, says. “But I had never been to Miami or Denver until now. It feels like I’ve been able to both work and travel at the same time. While we were in Denver, I even got to play golf, and then we hung out at a house and just had a great time playing around.”

Pulling Back the Curtain

In their NYC fan meeting, Gemini and Fourth treated fans to solo and duet performances. They played “Heavenly Touch” against each other and “Rock, Papers, Scissors” with show attendants. For those curious, the winner of “Rock, Papers, Scissors” was escorted on stage to maintain prolonged eye contact with Gemini and Fourth in turns — talk about pressure! The actors also answered a range of questions about their interests, academic pursuits and acting careers to date.

The Q&A section was one of the night’s highlights. Taking questions directly from fans in attendance allowed Gemini and Fourth to build rapport with the audience. During this section, both idols showed a vulnerable side to their on-stage personas. While discussing academics — Gemini is studying entrepreneurship and Fourth is a first-year law student — the duo shared their struggles juggling work, life and education. Both agreed that balance is incredibly difficult to achieve, but they are constantly delivering their best efforts.

Talking about how this year has played out for him, Gemini is equally honest. “This year has had its ups and downs, some good things, some not so good. But that’s life, right? You’ve got to go through the lows to get to the highs,” Gemini says. “It’s been kind of like a rollercoaster, but I’ve been able to do so many new things. I got back to filming a series, I got to tour in the U.S., and I’ve been involved in a lot of exciting new projects. It’s been good so far.”

“Moving forward, I want to do even more concerts and really improve the quality. I want to push myself to a new level where people truly recognize my growth and talent, either within this year or the next.”

Bridging Distance and Culture

Towards the end of the night in the New York show, Gemini and Fourth were presented with a fan project. In the short video clip, fans shared a sentimental message of support for the Thai actors, with various snippets recapping highlights of their careers. Gemini and Fourth even joined their fans in an impromptu and sentimental sing-along in Thai to wrap up the performances.

In truth, fans who may not have been proficient in Thai participated in the evening’s performances consistently. Their ability to join in on even snippets of songs in a presumably second or other language reflects a deeper, blossoming interest in Thai culture — only fueled by Gemini and Fourth’s presence in the Thai pop culture mainstream. Fans who enjoy their acting or music may find themselves exploring different elements of Thai cuisine, fashion and tourism; Gemini, for one, is in full support of this.

Asked about his recommendations to soak up Thai culture, he replies, “You should just go to Thailand, seriously, go to Thailand!” The singer specifically suggests visiting for the Songkran (Thai New Year) celebrations, which take place in April every year. “If you’re there, you’ll get to join in the water festival and experience a lot of new things. I’ve seen so many foreigners enjoying Songkran in Thailand.”

Gemini also highlights the beauty of the Thai Gulf. “The beaches in Thailand are beautiful,” he says. “I’d recommend visiting places like Phuket or Samui. Also, try Thai food and learn some basic Thai phrases like “Sawasdee krub/kha” (hello) and “Khob khun krub/kha) (thank you). You could even stop by the GMMTV Grammy building, you might run into us there!”

Fan Meeting Goes Literal

As the final surprise of the night, a brief hi-touch followed the actors’ heartfelt farewell. Regardless of their ticket, every audience member got the opportunity to say goodbye to the idols from up close. It was the moment that most pleasantly surprised press attendants; even after hours of fan interactions and performing, Gemini and Fourth went the extra mile to create a unique experience for their supporters. More than a hi-touch, it felt like a continuation of their expression of gratitude.

“Was there anything surprising? Yes, the number of people who showed up really surprised me!” says Gemini, looking back on the tour. “Normally, when we tour, we get a lot of Thai fans following us, but since the U.S. is quite far, not many could make it this time. Most of the audience here were fans living in the U.S. or Mexico, so basically all international fans. That was a huge surprise for me. I didn’t expect people from the other side of the world to be watching our work, supporting us, and actually coming to see us in person,” Gemini adds. “It’s amazing to think we connected across the globe like that.”

Leaving the event, I could not help but reflect on the combination of talent, diligence and humility that radiated from Gemini and Fourth. Despite undoubtedly packed agendas, the two offered a top-notch performance, connecting intimately with a crowd of dedicated fans. The pair was equal parts fun and transparent, letting loose on stage but acknowledging the struggles of their many pursuits.

Considering their commitment to progress in their academic and professional careers, one thing is clear: this is only the beginning for Gemini and Fourth.
