Connor Storrie Channels Greek Art for His Met Gala Debut

He served fashion, he served class, he served arms.

As one of the newest (and hottest) internet boyfriends in town, Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie was one of the 2026 Met Gala’s most anticipated debuts. The Texas-raised actor lived up to the hype and high expectations with an all-black look that single-handedly brought back the polka-dot trend, made a case for arm day at the gym, and, most importantly, nodded at Greco-Roman art.

This is how it went…

Following a streak of fashionable red carpet appearances, from the Golden Globes to the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book launch, Connor Storrie (who the world collectively knows as one half of television’s hottest duo) made a Met Gala appearance for the books.

The actor stepped out in a monochrome Saint Laurent look by Anthony Vaccarello. The brand and designer have previously outfitted Storrie for red carpets and front rows, so the team-up (at one of fashion’s most important nights!) felt well-timed to consolidate his relationship with Saint Laurent.

Storrie’s look consisted of a finely tailored ensemble featuring black, slightly evasé trousers and a matching double-breasted jacket. Serving as a juxtaposition to the structured shoulders and smart tailoring, Storrie sported a polka-dot halter top, which he revealed in its full glory on the red carpet.

Taking the jacket off, Storrie allowed the top to take center stage. Everything was about the details; the top’s long scarf doubled as a train, adding movement and dynamism to the overall look. The subtly draped details adorned with a brooch recalled Ancient Greek clothing like the chlamys and fibula, while the hair felt suitable for a young Athenian man.

As the cherry on top, and in accordance with the theme informing the gala, “Costume Art,” — which explores the relationship between body and clothing as an art form — Storrie’s silhouette evoked the Greek sculptures he is often compared to.

To complete the outfit, the actor wore a set of floral brooches and a golden timepiece, all by Tiffany & Co. The styling was so exquisite that the Heated Rivalry leading man elicited heated reactions from fans and journalists during his arrival at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Connor Storrie is Fashion’s Newest It Boy

While polka dots saw their heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, Storrie, who is widely recognized as a tastemaker, is bringing the print back and offering a menswear reinterpretation. The elegant but bold take was also on-theme with the star’s personal sensibilities and fashion associations.

ICYMI, Storrie has carved a reputation as an it-boy thanks to the tailored-heavy lookbook he has crafted with stylist James Yardley.  The star is also making headlines for his relationship to the luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. and the French powerhouse Saint Laurent, for which he serves as an ambassador.

In fact, at the latest Tiffany & Co. event in New York (the launch of the brand’s Blue Book high jewelry collection), Storrie emerged as the most influential celebrity in terms of Media Impact Value, a Launchmetrics’ proprietary machine-learning algorithm that benchmarks brand activity, impact and marketing performance. The actor authored the top-performing post related to the event, an Instagram post that accrued $811k in MIV in just 48 hours; numbers that his Met Gala debut has replicated and multiplied.

According to Launchmetrics, Storrie garnered $3.6 million in MIV for his use of Tiffany & Co. jewelry alone. The actor’s Saint Laurent look, on the other hand, drove coverage worth $14 million in MIV (direct and echo mentions), placing Storrie as the top-performing male celebrity at the event.
