French jeweler Cartier touched down in Büyükada, one of the Princes’ Islands in the Sea of Marmara, to celebrate “Into the Wild,” a high jewelry event and exhibition that reunited artists and cultural forces from across Türkiye and Southwest Asia.
Widely recognized for its deep-rooted ties to the country’s artistic scene, Büyükada served as the backdrop for a multi-day gathering. With highly curated experiences, Cartier offered a glimpse into its universe, savoir-faire and heritage. The itinerary kicked off with a visit to the atelier, where artists and artisans from Türkiye, India and the UAE introduced guests to their craft and technique.

Next, the historic Princes’ Palace Mansion (Akdağ Grand Mansion) hosted a display of the same artisans’ work—mosaic, paper, marbling, glass and straw marquetry, all attuned to the nature and animal kingdom-themed gathering.
The Maison’s creations, on the other hand, were introduced in an outdoor gallery. Animal motifs, from Cartier’s signature Panthère to zebras, crocodiles and birds transformed into elaborate jewelry pieces. The Panthère, a House icon since 1914, took center stage, reinvented through the use of materials like onyx, black lacquer and sapphire. The rest of Cartier’s animal bestiary brought the “Into the Wild” theme to life, translating natural motifs, textures and characters into fine jewelry.

Further reinforcing Cartier’s cultural presence across the globe, the event assembled an elite lineup
The guest list spanned Turkish screen veterans, Bollywood darlings and names from the cultural scene in West Asia, from journalists to filmmakers, all of them donning stunning Cartier creations.
Nadine Labaki, recognized for her role in Capernaum (the highest-grossing film to come from the Arab and West Asian region), made a statement with a black lace dress, accentuated with rose gold Panthère de Cartier earrings featuring onyx, emeralds and diamonds.

Tara Emad, one of Egypt’s most prominent names in entertainment and fashion, took a splendid Georges Hobeika creation to the next level with glam by Turkish makeup artist Aslı Bilge and a Panthère de Cartier torque necklace paved with emeralds, onyx and diamonds.
Turkish actor Tuba Büyüküstün, another name making the rounds in international fashion circles and who you might recognize for roles in Black Money Love and Netflix’s Zeytin Ağacı, matches the island’s atmosphere with a tiered mint green gown. The highlight was an Art Deco jewelry set featuring a lavaliere Panthère de Cartier necklace encrusted with onyx, emeralds and 257 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The men didn’t miss the mark, reinventing Cartier icons through their personal style and refreshing styling that broke away from classic conventions.
2025 Best Dressed Ishaan Khatter accessorized a modern suit with a diamond-paved Juste un Clou necklace and a chic Tank Américaine timepiece. Meanwhile, Egyptian actor Ahmed Malek rocked a demure Panthère de Cartier brooch, a pair of Panthère sunglasses and a Santos-Dumont Skeleton watch.

As for dizi star Barış Arduç, one of the event’s most talked-about guests, he elevated an off-white tailored set with a yellow gold and steel Santos de Cartier timepiece and the matching necklace chain.
Combining fashion, art and entertainment and proving Cartier’s cultural fluency, the night wrapped up with a performance by Egyptian superstar Yousra. Dressed in a bronze gown and a Panthère Head mesh chain necklace and coordinated bracelet, the legendary singer took the stage for a rendition of her iconic hit “3 Daqat.”

It was the perfect finale for an event that honored Cartier’s heritage and ties to the region, celebrating its most prominent talent and craftspeople.
