Jisoo Embraces Black and White Dressing at Paris Fashion Week

Korean star Jisoo proved that black and white is always right, crafting the hottest wardrobe to attend Paris Fashion Week.

Making a style statement in black and white might be a challenge, but K-pop star Jisoo made it look like an everyday task. Attending the Dior Fall-Winter 2025 show, the star flew the flag for two-toned fashion and beauty. Later the same day, Jisoo made a case for monochrome style to grace the first-ever Louvre charity gala, Le Grand Diner du Louvre. On both occasions, she nailed black-and-white dressing effortlessly.

Dual Toned Dior

Jisoo, an esteemed ambassador of the French luxury brand Dior, stepped out in Paris for the unveiling of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s newest collection. The event, as per usual, sparked fan frenzy at Jardin des Tuileries, where the show takes place every Paris Fashion Week.

Living up to her style credentials, the singer and actress delivered lessons on how to sport the classic black and white formula — a dress code that can easily get lost in translation but she knew exactly how to reinvent. Jisoo divided her outfit in color blocks. Up top, she wore a white corset and ruffled cropped jacket of the same color.

For the bottom half, the star went for a layered lace miniskirt and chunky high knee boots. The outfit flawlessly incorporated texture contrast and mixed traditionally feminine items with the rough edge of biker boots. Needless to say, Jisoo proved that a black-and-white ‘fit can be anything but boring.

Jisoo Loves a Black and White Manicure

Following the same style principle for her beauty look, Jisoo tapped into the black-and-white manicure trend. Her almond-shaped nails were mostly painted in black, with an accent nail that inverted the classic French manicure and another that revived the coquette bow trend.

Matching the rest of her ensemble, the Newtopia leading woman carried a black Lady Dior minibag, adorned with white lace.

Louvre Gala Debutant

Later the same day, the singer rolled up to the Louvre red carpet for the first-ever edition of Le Grand Diner du Louvre. The big charity event has drawn comparisons to the Met Gala, so it was a momentous occasion.

Jisoo dressed the part, opting for a body-hugging black gown. The piece featured a sweetheart neckline and subtle train. Once again, Jisoo’s styling emphasized details. A ton-sur-tone design element adorned the neckline and a small, almost unnoticeable bow added dimension to the back.

The centerpiece of Jisoo’s fit, however, was the Cartier Panthère Canopée, a necklace from the brand’s Nature Sauvage High Jewelry Collection, chapter III. The jewelry piece features a 26.53-carat Ceylon sapphire and an assortment of trilliant-cut sapphires and diamonds. To top off the classy get-up, Jisoo wore her hair deliciously just off to the side.

Yes, when it comes to dressing, black and white is a no brainer. But, if we go by Jisoo’s stylebook, putting an occasion appropriate spin to the formula is an art form. She showed us how to own it, in different ways, in just a couple of hours.
