Of the many displays of craftsmanship at Milan Fashion Week, Prada’s runway shows are always among the most awaited. Constantly redefining fashion trends, the Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons-led fashion house has become a referent in the industry for its eclectic and contemporary designs. On September 25, the brand debuted its Spring-Summer 2026 Womenswear collection at the Fondazione Prada Deposito.
Green Is the New Black
The Prada SS26 collection is a take on functionality, with a gentle nod to boisterous creativity. Simple, clear silhouettes paraded the runway, creating a feeling of familiarity with short and- elbow-sleeve tops, midi skirts and pointed-toe heels—akin to styles popular in the 1950s.
Much of the collection is work-ready, with pops of color and textures that balance practicality with playfulness. Shades of blue, bold yellows, muted orange, vibrant red and even bursts of purple appeared across accessories and regular pieces. What caught the eye, however, were the consistent notes of green. Following the rise of Brat green in 2024 and this year’s fervent obsession with butter yellow, the industry has kept its eyes peeled for the next trendy color. If this collection is anything to go by, the world could anticipate soft shades of green dominating 2026. Think: olive, sage and moss.
Of course, as a collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the SS26 line had a tangible personality. Bloomers that align with the no-pants trend, uncharacteristically wide Peter Pan collars and mixed-pattern pieces received their share of the spotlight. A highlight among highlights was the layered skirt that the creative director duo reinvented by combining multiple designs, texture and fabrics.

The Prada Front Row
Not unexpectedly, one of fashion’s biggest labels brings pop culture’s biggest stars to its front row. Among the power players in attendance were athletes, singers and actors from across the world.
South Korean singer and brand ambassador Karina wore a seasonally-appropriate take on business casual, pairing a velvet blazer and white top with grey denim. K-pop group ENHYPEN, also ambassadors for the brand, wore a medley of formal attire in muted earth tones, ranging from standard two-piece suits to longer overcoats with fur details.

American actress Sadie Sink took a preppy approach, with a bright white collar peeking over her black sweater, worn with blue pants. Thai idols Phutatchai and Khunpol wore a statement fur-lined overcoat and a navy sweater decorated with fringe and buckle appliques, respectively. Meanwhile, brand ambassador Jarinporn Joonkiat (Toey) opted for a knit look consisting of an emerald green skirt and a tube top.

Other notable guests included DJ Peggy Gou, online creator Emma Chamberlain, Chinese actress Guan Xiaotong, Mexican singer Eiza González and Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.
