30 Celebrity Fashion Week Moments For The Books

A look into the celebrity moments that have shaped Fashion Week throughout the years, from Rihanna at the Chanel front row to Felix walking the Louis Vuitton runway.

Since 1943, Fashion Week has been a spectacle for the fashion industry to discover novel designs, engage in business and promote new collections. In recent years, however, fashion shows have become entertainment platforms.

The new fashion show narrative has placed attendees as protagonists. As much as they continue to be industry events, global Fashion Weeks also serve as a showcase for buyers, magazine editors, content creators and especially, celebrities to flaunt their best style.

Creating a culture where people outside the industry can appreciate the craftsmanship and creativity, fashion brands, public relations companies and other actors have transformed shows into an art form. Today, much of these events’ success is linked to the guest lists, performers or creative partnerships involved. The social media engagement that celebrities bring to the event has also shifted the classic fashion show paradigm.

With celebrity voices becoming such an integral element at international Fashion Weeks, No Manners Magazine looks back at moments that have redefined celebrity presence during the major Fashion Weeks. Scroll down to see, in no particular order, 30 star looks (and runway struts) for the books.

Since 2016, the superstar has served as a Chanel global ambassador. Amidst his well-documented list of remarkable ensembles at Fashion Week, his appearance at the Chanel Spring Couture 2016 show still stands out. Apo hinted at the neon trend taking over 2023 while Mile wore a cool-toned ensemble. Rich and elegant, the cut and color of the garments nodded to the Parisian brand’s house codes and most recent collection.

Her front row outfit looked taken straight from the twee subculture rulebook. But Freen’s entire Paris sojourn was one for the books. The Valentino ambassador slipped into a soft, all white outfit for the Parisian streets. Furs, gold nose jewelry, and a cherry printed purse channeled the “Freen in Paris” energy.
