Men in pink? Yes and yes!
Pink is officially the trendiest color in menswear this season. Whether in its most powdery shades as seen on the runways of brands such as Pronounce and Garcias or in its boldest form, as spotted on the field at the FIFA World Cup, the color has officially taken over the wardrobes of the most fashionable men on Earth.
That includes the lookbooks of OG front row K-pop sensations NCT. Sojourning in Europe to attend Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, members Jaehyun and Yuta have delivered serious pink wardrobe inspiration.
Let’s start with the basics
In case you need to be filled in on the history of K-pop fashion associations, NCT are undisputed sartorial icons, whose fashion dominance in the early 2020s made the group fixtures at international Fashion Weeks.
Each member of the group now boasts extensive fashion resumes, but back at the beginning of the decade, the group stood out for departing from collective associations to find the fashion brands that better suited them. This fashion-savvy approach allowed each group member to foster lasting brand partnerships that stand the test of time, a dynamic that is now the norm but in the early 2020s was still novel for stars from the Asia Pacific region.
Today, most group members represent fashion brands as ambassadors and friends. Such is the case for Jaehyun, one of Prada’s first ambassadors to hail from the APAC region, and Yuta, whose friendship with Louis Vuitton dates back to late 2022.
Jaehyun Embraces Pink as a Statement
No stranger to trends, front row dynamics or fashion experimentation, Jaehyun and Yuta fully embraced the rise of pink in menswear for their commitments in Milan and Paris, respectively. And they didn’t disappoint.
Covering different bases and styles, each incorporated this summer’s biggest color trend into their front row ensembles.
Jaehyun, on one hand, took cues from Prada’s Fall/Winter 2026 show, favoring a faded pink jacket with classic waxed motorcycle jacket influences (belt cinched ar the waist, short lined collar, 3/4 length cut). He wore the item layered atop a sweater and styled it with the cuffs turned over for added dimension. The remaining elements of the look included slacks, a purposely undone skinny belt and laced leather shoes with red accents.
Jaehyun’s take leaned into casual territory, allowing the rosy-toned jacket to take center stage and serve as contrast to the otherwise monochromatic look. It was a slightly playful but still very trendy spin on runway styling.
Yuta Accessorizes with Pink
Yuta, on the other hand, tapped into this season’s must-have accessory: the carryall bag, which is also having a moment thanks to the World Cup and football players’ penchant for carrying the most exquisite designs across countries and into the stadium. Unlike Jaehyun, who opted for a light shade of pink to counter the darker tones in his look, Yuta used pink as a complement to his look’s color palette, which featured white, lightwash denim and Cambridge blue.
Yuta is a rockstar at heart, though, so his bag choice needed to stand out somehow. The singer achieved the effect through the color contrast between the pink LV Keepall Bag and his black manicure, a beauty signature he has remained loyal to in every front-row appearance.

Now onto the trend: pink is menswear’s new obsession
While pink color palettes have been a mainstay in fashion throughout history, in the 2020s, the color has seen its heyday thanks to key runway and pop culture moments. You might remember the Barbiecore craze that took over the world thanks to Pier Paolo Piccioli’s Fall/Winter 2022 Valentino collection “PP Pink” and later, the release of Greta Gerwig’s 2023 film, Barbie.
In menswear, however, the color hasn’t really been part of conversations until late 2025, when menswear and sportswear brands started reclaiming the color for men. (Yes, reclaiming it because long before pink was arbitrarily assigned to women circa 1940, the shade was deemed a boys’ color.)
This reemergence of pink for men was subtle on the runways of brands such as Dior since last year. However, in the most recent Men’s Fashion Week, names such as the Colombian streetwear brand Garcias and the Chinese-owned Pronounce have made a strong case for rosy shades for men. Unknowingly, Garcias even delivered a lesson on the history of gendered color on the runway, using iconography of the Divino Niño.
The statue, considered a Colombian symbol, represents young Jesus dressed in a pink tunic, yet more proof that in yesteryear, pink, deemed a soft version of red (a color deeply associated with royalty, power and strength) was a color for boys and men.

Now, pink is returning into men’s wardrobes in full force. Granted, the color is still associated with femininity and according to polls, men were still “afraid” of wearing pink in 2023. The good news? As seen in the streets of fashion capitals, younger men are not concerned with banalities like gendered clothing stereotypes.
Both Jaehyun and Yuta are among the new guard, demonstrating that when done right, pink has a unique, style-forward quality that’s hard to replicate with any other color. Pink, after all, just goes with the fashion. Or so say Aerosmith.
