It’s giving polka dot dream.
Fresh off her Met Gala debut, Jisoo touched down in Los Angeles to join the bevy of A-listers supporting Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection at the helm of Dior. The South Korean singer and actress arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art decked out in a look that can’t be described as anything but a polka dot dream.
Polka Dot Fever
Jisoo, recognized as a muse and longstanding Dior ambassador, stepped out in the City of Angels on May 13 to attend the brand’s Cruise 2027 collection. As is her tradition at every front row, the singer reinvented herself with a look taken straight from the Dior Fall/Winter 2026 collection, presented in Paris last March.
Her look tapped into the revival of ’80s-inspired polka dots and two-toned dressing, pairing a black layered skirt with a ruffle top in contrasting white color. Both pieces featured polka dots and scalloped hems, playing with forms and textures and bringing a whimsical edge to Jisoo’s appearance.
Jisoo complemented the volume-rich ensemble with black J’Adior pumps and a black hobo bag. As for her glam, the “Flower” singer kept things simple with cat-eye liner and rose-toned makeup.

As a trusted arbiter of style, Jisoo is the latest star to give her seal of approval to polka dots. Though the pattern saw its heyday during the 1980s and 1990s, the timeless print is coming back into style in 2026. Gowns, matching sets, and bodycon dresses are just some of the items making the rounds on the runways of the biggest Fashion Weeks, from New York to Paris, since late 2025. Meanwhile, celebrities such as Connor Storrie, Olivia Rodrigo, and Rihanna are hopping on the trend. Storrie, in particular, embraced polka dots for his Met Gala debut, showcasing the print’s versatility.
Although polka dots have never really gone out of style, they are undoubtedly poised for a big comeback. Last summer, the visual discovery engine Pinterest forecast polka dots would grow in popularity, after reporting searches for “Polka dot outfits” going up 1026% YoY, while “polka dot aesthetic” increased by 699%.
For Dior in particular, the print evokes history and reinvention. Under founder Christian Dior’s tenure, the brand embraced this almost childlike print and rebranded it as a symbol of the New Look, a silhouette that revolutionized fashion in the post-war era.
“I would say the same about dots as about checks. They are lovely, elegant, easy, and always in fashion. I never get tired of dots…” Christian Dior famously stated.
Now, almost a century later, Jonathan Anderson and his muses, Jisoo included, are proving Monsieur Dior right.
